Women in GC role and on Boards

I was pleased to see a post on Project 5 / 165 by my colleague, Melinda Maher. Our site here is about employee benefits education and commentary.

As a longtime partner in a BigLaw environment and one who advises on employee benefits and corporate executive compensation matters, a long time-advocate of advancing women in the workplace, a past president of the Northwest Women’s Law Center, and an Advisory Board Member for the University of Washington Women’s Center, I’ve watched recent developments around women in the workplace with much interest. Here’s one worth noting. Last month a group of CEOs, board directors and government officials gathered in New York to acknowledge the 400 companies in the S&P 500 with at least 20% women on their board. Take a look. (Huffington Post)
